I would urge all parents, facultly and staff of the North Haven High School to pay attention to any symptoms that might arise while in the building. There have been numerous complaints from both teachers and students regarding an issue within the school and the air quality. For some reason the Board of Education is refusing to look into the issue and find out what the problem is.

I'm no expert, but mold is a very, very high possibility given all of the leaks and issues that the school has had since being built. Not to mention the symptoms that my son and others have complained about lean towards an instance of mold within the building.

As a parent, I truly urge you to pay attention to any and all symptoms. Any headaches, sinus issues, itchy, watery eyes, neurological issues, these are all symptoms that can be caused by mold exposure, not to mention many long term ailments.

Please lean on the school board to actually be accountable and to fess up to knowing that there is a problem within the school. You never know it could very well be your own child next.
