Lights, camera, action, North Haven. A nationally-known, 1988 alumnus of the town’s high school is returning with his latest film project.

Clad in maroon caps and gowns, and with white carnations in hand, 315 North Haven High School seniors graduated June 21 at Vanacore field under a blue sky and summery sun.

North Haven High School history teacher Federico Fiondella enjoys finishing a year of textbook teaching tangibly – with the real thing.

A left turn upon entering North Haven High School takes one to a series of ubiquitous glass cases displaying student awards. Football, baseball, softball, basketball, and even fencing are among sports commemorated here by wooden plaques and plastic, glossy trophies.

The 14th annual North Haven High School “Sharing with Seniors” breakfast provided the outgoing class an opportunity to thank and learn from the town’s senior citizens.
