Sensibly, Meriden officials hired an independent attorney to examine allegations of nepotism and concealment of officer brutality recently brought against the local police department.

After concerns arose regarding his practices as a State Marshal in New Haven, North Haven Democratic Town Committee (DTC) chairman Peter Criscuolo is being investigated by Connecticut Attorney General’s Office.

Discovering no illegal activities, the state’s attorney office has ceased its investigation into North Haven’s building department.
