School district sees continued rise in student test scores
The 2009 Connecticut Mastery Test, SAT, and Advanced Placement Exam results have been released, and all three illustrate a continued positive trend for the education of North Haven students.
GPA change coming to high school this fall
To the relief of students and many parents, North Haven High School will switch to a weighted 4.0 grade point average scale in the fall, said Director of Guidance Rebecca Carr.

Residents will have their chance voice their opinion about the proposed budget for the 2008-09 fiscal year and vote on an appropriation of $250,000 for the special education program April 8 at North Haven High School.

Sara-Jane Querfeld presented the Board of Education's $42.8 million operating budget for 2008-09 to the Board of Finance during a budget workshop March 1. The budget represents a 6.5 percent increase over last year.
